Hrithik Roshan, Sachin Tendulkar, Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu And Others Donate Generously To Fight COVID-19

With the entire world facing some dark times due to outbreak of COVID-19, stars across all the film industries have come forward to do their bit. Starting from spreading awareness by urging people to take safety measures including washing hands, practising social distancing and also staying back at home. Taking a step further we saw stars donating some huge amount to the government in order to fight against COVID-19. While some stars contributed towards the daily wages of film workers, some contributed towards CM Relief Funds.

From actors such as Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi to directors Anil Ravipudi, Trivikram Srinivas, and Koratala Siva and many more, came forward and help the country fight against this pandemic. From Lakhs to Crores, the donation came in huge numbers; with these influential people from the entertainment business also further urging people to come forward and contribute. Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan took to his Twitter account announced of procuring masks for BMC officials and others. Joining the bandwagon are sports personalities too such as Sachin Tendulkar, PV Sindhu and others.

Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Sourav Ganguly donated 50 lakh each. With Sachin donating to Prime Minister's Relief Fund and Maharashtra Chief Minister's Relief Fund, Gautam Gambhir donated for Delhi government hospital helping them fetch types of equipment to treat COVID-19 patients and Sourav donated rice for the underprivileged as per reports in sacnilk.com. Prabhas too donated 4 crores.
